How do I receive a partial shipment on a purchase order?

Finale has the ability to receive multiple shipments to a single purchase order. This is very useful in situations where vendors send you multiple shipments to complete an order.

In practice, partial shipments are common, and you need to continue to receive stock to keep your business moving. Your business should not grind to a halt due to a limitation in the inventory management software.

If your supplier did not send you the complete order, Finale allows you to receive a partial shipment from suppliers and create backorders for reconciliation at a later date.
