In addition to updated stock qtys, Finale can now also update fulfilment latency for eBay marketplace listings for advanced eBay sellers.
DispatchTimeMax is the max number of days in which the item will be dispatched or mailed to the customer. Specifying 0 means that the item is mailed to the customer as soon as the order is received. In this case, the seller's shipping commitment depends on the order cut off time set in the seller's user preferences which defaults to 2:00 PM local time on most sites
This time does not include the shipping time (the carrier's transit time).
If your merchant-fulfilled eBay listings require custom fulfillment latency settings (e.g. you sell customized products), you can configure these settings in Finale.
The authorized shipping times foreBay are the following ones: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, or 20.
The next time an eBay inventory update is sent, the value will be updated automatically since it gets included in the inventory feed.
To set this up..
Step #1 -
For the products that have a custom lead time, please update the product "std leadtime field" attribute directly from the Product Details page or via a bulk import.
Step #2 -
Enable the capability by turning on the setting from the eBay connection page. The setting is turned OFF by default.
ADVANCED Setting up Fulfilment Latency To Include Supplier Lead Times
Finale also has the capability to change the fulfillment latency to use the supplier lead time if you run out of stock on a specific product and need to create a purchase order from a supplier.
To set this capability up, there are are a couple additional steps required in addition to step#1 and step #2.
Step #3 -
You must leverage the supplier purchase fields of the products and populate the Supplier 1, Supplier 1 Qty, Supplier Qty.
If you have additional suppliers, Finale will use supplier 1 lead time until there is no stock, then push supplier 2 lead times, and so forth.
Step #4 -
Within the "Pull sales to Finale" settings for the ShipStation connection, select "Prioritized Supplier" for the "Include Supplier" setting
Step #5 -
Add the following report to understand what leadtime Finale is pushing to EBay for each product
"Stock quantities pushed for each connection w/ lead times"
(Report #14 of [http://www.finaleinventory.com/wfi/Additional_Report_Templates|Reporting Templates)
Examples Calculation
When the "prioritized supplier" setting is set, Finale will update the stock qty to the marketplace with the following prioritization:
Example Base Calculations
1) If there is Remaining stock in your warehouse, Finale will push stock qty and product lead time from the warehouse to the marketplace
2) If the Remaining stock in your warehouse = 0, Finale will push stock qty from the "Supplier 1 qty Available" field and "Supplier 1 lead days:" field to eBay.
Using the table above as an illustration, Finale will push a stock qty of "4" and leadtime of "2" days from "ABC T-shirts"
3) If the Remaining stock in your warehouse = 0 and "Supplier 1 qty Available=0", Finale will push stock qty from the "Supplier 2 qty Available" and "and "Supplier 2 lead days:" field to eBay
Using the table above as an illustration, Finale will push a stock qty of "5" and leadtime of "4" days from "EgoSys"
Example Kit Calculations
If the product is a kit, Finale will push the qty based on the component qtys and the longest lead time (if applicable).
For example, the finished product is a shampoo / conditioner bundle. The kits is compromised as one of each product.
If there are 7 shampoo bottles in the warehouse, and 0 conditioner bottles in the warehouse and supplier 1 has 4 conditioner units with a 5 day lead time then Finale will push 4 kits with a 5 day lead time to eBay
1) Shampoo bottle in stock, but conditioner out of stock
If there are 7 shampoo bottles in the warehouse and 0 conditioner bottles in the warehouse and supplier 1 has 4 conditioner units with a 5 day lead time, then Finale will push 4 kits with a 5 day lead time to EBay
2) Neither Shampoo and Conditioner are in the your warehouse
If supplier 1 has 7 units of shampoo with 5 day lead time, and supplier 1 has 2 units with a 3 day lead time then Finale will push 2 kits with a 5 day lead time to eBay.
3) Neither Shampoo and Conditioner are in the your warehouse & Shampoo is not available from Supplier 1
If supplier 1 has 7 units of shampoo with 5 day lead time, and supplier 2 has 2 units of conditioner with a 3 day lead time then Finale will push 2 kits with a 5 day lead time to eBay.
