Sometimes, you may notice that a few ShipStation orders are not properly syncing down to Finale. The orders are in ShipStation, but the orders are not in Finale regardless how times the ShipStation 'pull sales task' runs to sync the orders down.
Below are the most common reasons:
1) The order has an ShipStation warehouse location which is set to "Do Not Import Orders" in Finale
If the order has a ShipStation warehouse location configured to "Do Not Import Orders", Finale will suppress all orders with the ShipStation warehouse location.
For example, the example screenshot shows that the ShipStation "South Annex" warehouse is set to "Do Not Import Orders". As a result, all ShipStation order marked with the "South Annex" warehouse will be suppressed.
The setting can be found under the from the "Pull Sales to Finale" section, please select "Edit Task Configuration"
2. The ShipStation order was shipped before Finale "Order Filter Date" setting
If the order was shipped before the Finale order filter date, Finale will suppress those orders.
The setting is also found from the "Pull Sales to Finale" section, please select "Edit Task Configuration"
3. There are emojis characters in the notes section of the ShipStation order
Finale will not be able to sync orders with emojis characters in the Notes section of the ShipStation order. To address this, please remove the characters in the Notes section within ShipStation.
