If you are leveraging GeekSeller to create and maintain your product listings on Jet.com, our direct integration with Jet.com will not work correctly without a few additional steps. Although Finale will push stock levels to Jet.com, GeekSeller will also act as the "master" inventory record and send conflicting updates to Jet.com.
For example, Finale has a stock level of 10 for product, however, Geekseller has 0. Finale will update a quantity of 10 to Jet.com. Geekseller, also acting as the inventory master, will update Jet.com with a quantity of 0. Depending on which software updates last, that will be the quantity listed on Jet.com. Finale only updates inventory daily unless there is a change to the stock, so if Finale pushes the update before Geekseller, then that whole day Jet.com will think you are out of stock of this item. This is why both softwares cannot be used in unison without making some adjustments first.
There are two viable solutions to quickly resolve this:
You can contact Geekseller support and request that they disable the inventory updating ability. Finale will now be the master inventory and push inventory updates to Jet.com without conflict. (Note, Geekseller will still be connected to Jet.com to handle order management, but will no longer be able to maintain product listings or confirm orders with valid stock available. This is not advised.)
Finale can be configured to periodically push an FTP stock report directly to Geekseller. Geekseller will then in turn update Jet.com. Finale will not communicate directly with Jet.com at all. Do not configure any connection within Finale to Jet.com for this option.
