In this article we will cover how to fix the "change next system ID error" from the import products and pull sales tasks.
This error message occurs when your account has orders near or above the current next system ID. When an order or product has a long ID Finale will use the next system ID internally. When the next system ID matches an existing order, the new order or product using the system generated ID will fail to get created.
To fix, go to the action drop down menu.
When changing the next system ID, only increase the numbers to avoid hitting the old range of system IDs that are already taken.
Once the next system order ID is changed the error should be resolved. If the order ID is not increased enough the error may reappear in the future.
The same fix applies to the import products task.
