As of 3/1/2023, Finale Inventory officially supports and integrates with the USA version of QuickBooks Online. Our current, cutting-edge, automated QuickBooks Online Integration requires a Silver-level subscription plan or above.
Do you offer onboarding assistance with the QuickBooks Online integration?
There are three options to get assistance to ensure Finale is correctly syncing the transactions to/from your QuickBooks Online account.
- Use Finale Inventory help center articles and How-to videos for self-help and guidance if you are on the Silver or Gold plans.
- Finale team members can assist with this integration to customers on the Platinum (minimum 6-month commitment), Custom, and Platinum Plus plans.
- Alternatively, we can refer recommend 3rd party accounting companies who can assist with the integration. Please contact us for a list of recommended accounting companies.
Do you have more than one QuickBooks Online Integration?
In the past, Finale Inventory also had a previous version of a QuickBooks Online Integration. We call this integration "LEGACY QuickBooks Integration". This integration is no longer available for any new or existing Finale Inventory subscription holder. We still support this integration. If you have issues or problems we will support you, however, we will not be adding any new features or functions, and if your specific issue or problem is only affecting your Finale Inventory account or if it would require any extensive engineering to fix, we will not prioritizing any engineering efforts to fix it. This would require you to upgrade to the current, automated, QuickBooks Online Integration.
Do you offer support or assistance for existing customers that have the LEGACY QuickBooks Online integration?
Yes, all existing Finale subscription plans that currently have the LEGACY QuickBooks Online integration active on their account will be supported by a Finale team member. No new LEGACY QuickBooks Online integrations will be supported.
Can a current LEGACY QuickBooks Online integration user upgrade to the new, current QuickBooks Online Integration?
Yes, any existing LEGACY QuickBooks Online integration users may elect to upgrade to the new, current QuickBooks Online interaction. They must be on a Silver-level subscription plan or above.
Do you offer conversion/onboarding assistance for existing LEGACY QuickBooks Online users to upgrade to the new, current QuickBooks Online Integration?
There are three options to get assistance with conversion and upgrade to the new QuickBooks Online integration and to ensure Finale is correctly syncing the transactions to/from your QuickBooks Online account.
- Use Finale Inventory help center articles and How-to videos for self-help and guidance if you are on the Silver or Gold plans.
- Finale team members can assist with this conversion/upgrade to the new QuickBooks integration for existing Platinum or higher subscription plan customers or if you upgrade to a minimum 6-month commitment Platinum subscription, Custom, or Platinum Plus plans.

Do you have a QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise integration?
In the past, Finale Inventory did have a QuickBooks Desktop integration that was supported and would work for a PC version of QuickBooks Desktop or locally hosted QuickBooks Enterprise. As of 3/1/2023 Finale Inventory has discontinued offering and supporting any integrations with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise. Any current Finale Inventory subscription holder that has a current, installed, and working QuickBooks Desktop integration may continue to use it at their own risk. We are not going to remove it from your account but we will no longer be supporting it or providing any fixes for bugs or errors that come up with this integration. We will support you and your account with questions within the working boundaries of the existing code, but there will be no more code fixes on our part of any kind with the QuickBooks Desktop Integration. If it breaks or stops working for any reason we will not fix it. We strongly suggest any QuickBooks Desktop integration user consider moving to QuickBooks Online.
Can a current QuickBooks Desktop integration user upgrade to the new, current QuickBooks Online Integration?
