Finale Inventory's QuickBooks Online integration with your QuickBooks account will be controlled by a filter start date.
If specified, the transaction filter date limits the transactions that will be pushed from Finale Inventory to QuickBooks Online as follows:
- Posted transactions are created in QuickBooks Online if the record date of the Finale Inventory transaction is on or after the filter start date
- Pending and canceled transactions are deleted from QuickBooks Online if they were previously pushed by Finale Inventory and they are canceled on or after this date in Finale Inventory
This filter is useful when QuickBooks Online has closed accounting periods you do not want to affect.
If you leave this date blank or empty, Finale Inventory will sync all transactions in your Finale Inventory account.
If you set this Filter start date and sync transactions into your QuickBooks Online account, and later you change this filter start date to a different date that is earlier in time of date from before the initial setting, Finale Inventory will go back and sync the new transactions with a Record date on or after this new date.
If you set this Filter start date and sync transactions into your QuickBooks Online account, and you later change this filter start date to a date later in time or into the future, Finale Inventory will not remove any transactions from your QuickBooks. They will stay there.
If you set this Filter start date to a time in the future, Finale Inventory will not sync any information into or From QuickBooks until that date is on or after the value you set for the Filter start date.
