Selling preorders is a very common practice for business' today and Finale has some tools to assist with this. Finale has three techniques that can assist with preorders and they are as follows;
- Entering a supplier quantity to limit preorder sales
- MUST remove this quantity when the preorder is complete.
- Pushing a stock level that includes "on order units"
- Selling into the negative (reserving stock) and placing a PO when the preorder is closed
