If you are using a
Dolphin CT60 Handheld scanner and when you load the Finale Inventory application and attempt to use the scanner to scan a barcode and the CT60 invokes the Camera instead of the laser or the CT60 does not put the decoded barcode data into the Finale Inventory application dialog, you will need to make sure the CT60 has the correct device settings and is using the correct firmware version.
1. Make sure you are using firmware version: hon660-n-84.00.25-(0265)

2. Check if your device has the option 'Wedge method' in Settings > Honeywell Settings > Scanning > Internal Scanner > Data Processing Settings.
If it is required to send all the data as keystrokes, then the following configuration needs to be used:
'Wedge Method' = 'Keyboard'
'Wedge As Keys' =
It is important to clear out the 'Wedge As Keys' field otherwise the characters listed would be treated as exceptions and will not be sent out as keystrokes.
The unit must output the content from the scanner to Keyboard strokes.
