    Sales numbers in the dashboard include all Sales orders in the Committed or Completed state during the date range.  The dollar value displayed is the order total and hence includes all discounts, fees, and taxes that may have been applied to the orders.  The date range filter is based on the order date field. 

     

    Without knowing the the specific report you are looking I can't give a precise reason the numbers aren't the same.  If you submit a service request then one of our support team members can work with you to get the numbers to reconcile and involve our engineers if necessary to figure out what is going on.

     

    I'll also interpret this as a feature request to add some sort of drill down feature that lets you link directly from a card or chart in the dashboard to a report in PDF or Excel with detail data.
