Android Device Compatibility
There are thousands of devices that run Android OS, and we cannot possibly test them all. The purpose of this list is to provide users with a reliable reference source to know which devices will work acceptably with our Finale Inventory barcode scanning application — and which ones to avoid.
We officially only support Android OS-based devices running version 8.1 or higher.
This list will be updated as frequently as possible. If you do not see your device listed, it does not automatically mean it will or will not work.
Please send device compatibility inquiries to service@finaleinventory.com.
If you have purchased and tested specific hardware that works well with the Finale Inventory Barcode Scanning Application, please share the details with us so we can add them to the User Tested and Approved list.
Likewise, if you have tested devices that are not acceptable, we would like to know those details as well.

Android Phones & Tablets
We do not officially recommend phones or tablets. These rely on built-in cameras for barcode capture, which is often slow, clunky, and frustrating.
